Our History
Over the years, Qbit has progressively expanded through the various stages of company development, from acquiring a new Identity while assimilating a number of small businesses and highly qualified staff from various professional backgrounds.
Qbits first incipiency began in 1995 when Dave opened Digital Geodata Consultants Pty Ltd (DGC). With just one client initially, then increasing to several (some of which we still have today).
In early 2002 Fabio started Intelligent Products; Originally conceived as a part-time job, servicing the odd I.T. job for friends and other small businesses. It continued to grow steadily over the next few years and by early 2007, Fabio had found himself running it full time.
Up-Time was started in 2006 and in 2010 Intelligent Products merged with UpTime Solutions. They then changed the name to Qbit Computers. In late 2010 Qbit acquired Syswise.
Qbit continued to grow naturally until the opportunity to merge with ProvidaIT came up in 2014. Qbit has continued to expand and we are very proud of our history and the glowing recommendations that we constantly receive from our clients.
